DEEP DIVER

DRY SUIT DIVING
WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
Dry suits allow you to dive without getting wet. This is due to their tightness, meaning water can’t enter, but neither can air escape, which will affect your buoyancy during the dive. Learn how to use a dry suit as part of your equipment, but also as a way to control your buoyancy.
In this course, you’ll learn how a dry suit works and how to control the air inside to maintain your buoyancy. You’ll also learn about the different types of dry suits, their maintenance, and basic repairs.
PREREQUISITES
Be an Open Water Diver or higher.
HOW IS THE COURSE ORGANIZED?
The course consists of an online theoretical section (2-4 hours), a knowledge review with your instructor, and three dives during which you’ll learn how to use a drysuit.
The course can be completed in 2-3 days.
